Lucy Finocchio, 101, of Bethlehem Twp., PA, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 in Old Orchard Manor Care.
Lucy was born in Bangor, PA, a daughter of the late Carmelo and Mary Angela (Galati) Giardiniere.
Lucy was married to Joseph Albert Finocchio until his passing in 1971. She was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, and the Flower League at Bar-Don Bowling Alleys in Palmer Twp.
Lucy is survived by her son Joseph Anthony Finocchio and wife Jackie of Bethlehem Twp.; a daughter Angela Sillup and husband Robert of Land O Lakes, FL; grandchildren Ryan Sillup, Charisse Aunchman, Joseph Finocchio and wife Janelle, Jonna Finocchio, and Jacob Finocchio; great-grandchildren Alayna, Orion, Mira, and Jackson. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her sisters Vera Montemurro, Frances Egan; brothers Ben and John Giardiniere.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with an additional calling hour on Friday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 am in St. Jane Frances Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Palmer Twp. Interment will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Williams Twp.
