Sebastiano “Charlie” Nigrelli, 90, of Palmer Twp., PA, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2018 in his home.
Charlie was born in Santo Stefano di Camastra, Sicily, Italy, a son of the late Lucio and Giuseppa (Boscia) Nigrelli.
Charlie was married to the former Sadie Giovanni until her passing in 2014. He served in the Italian Armed Forces during Peacetime. He was a meat cutter and manager for Easton Packing Company until retiring in 1993.
Charlie was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, and the Holy Cross Society.
Charlie was survived by sons Lucio Nigrelli and wife Jane Marie of Bethlehem, John Nigrelli and wife Lisa Ann of Nazareth; a sister Giuseppa Romeo of Santo Stefano di Camastra; grandchildren Matthew Nigrelli, Kyle Apgar, Michael Wilson, Andrew Nigrelli, Christopher Apgar, Daniel Nigrelli; great-grandchildren Harper Wilson, Caden Apgar and Dominic Nigrelli. In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by a daughter JoAnne Wilson; sisters Maria Guidara, Louise Lisinicchia, Carmela Boscia; and a brother Luigi Nigrelli.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with an additional calling hour on Friday from 9:15 am to 10:15 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th & Lehigh Streets, Easton. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp.
