Obituary

Adam C. Christoffel, 40, of Bethlehem Twp., passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.
Born on February 25, 1983, he was the son of John and Joan (Gryskiewicz) Christoffel. In
addition to his parents, Adam is survived by his brother, Thomas Christoffel in Minnesota, and
many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Adam was a light to the world. He lit up a room when he entered. His smile was infectious. He
was charming, graceful, caring, smart, talented, creative, and wise beyond his years.

Growing up in Minnesota gave Adam a love of nature. His favorite place to be was at his
Grandpa's cabin, and he spent many weekends and vacations there during the summer. He was
also fortunate to spend many happy times on his uncle's farm with his cousins.

Adam dabbled in modeling beginning at a very young age when he modeled clothing in a print ad
for Daytons. All through his educational years he was a thespian, acting in numerous school
plays. While in middle school, he made a TV commercial for Target. He was a natural ham. In
high school, he joined the Totino Grace Show Choir. He had a beautiful voice and athletic grace.
Adam graduated from Totino Grace in 2001.

Always interested in the Arts, he earned his Associates Degree from the International Academy of
Design and Technology in Tampa, Florida. He landed a job at Gioffre in Clearwater, Florida
where he received hands on education in the fashion industry. Part of his job included travel to
Milan.

Since New York is a fashion center, Adam decided to move to Brooklyn, where he did some
freelance work. In 2013 he was chosen to be a contestant on Rihanna's show, Styled to Rock,
where again, he was the light of the group and the fan favorite. Living in Brooklyn, he was
surrounded by cement and tall buildings. Needing to be more a part of nature, he moved to
Hightstown, New Jersey after he began working at Innoknits as a Technical Designer. In
Hightstown, he could look out his window and see trees and grass, and hear the crickets at night.
He enjoyed long walks in the evenings. There were many beautiful places for him to hike, and he
would occasionally take weekend hiking trips. This job also included travel to fashion centers in
Europe, as well as the factory in Pakistan. Adam had an adventurous spirit, and once made a
side trip to Dubai, where he engaged in fun water activities and enjoyed a respite from his work
schedule.

In June 2022, he began working at Swim USA in Nazareth, Pennsylvania as a pattern maker and
technical designer. Adam loved his job and the people he worked with.

In addition to spending time outdoors and with family and friends, Adam enjoyed singing
Karaoke. He has adored Mariah Carey from the very beginning of her career. She became his
inspiration, as you can see in his designs. He could mimic her voice, whistling the high notes
with precision. He was also a fan of '80s music. One of his favorite songs to sing was Bon Jovi's
"Livin' on a Prayer".

Another favorite past time was video gaming. He was an avid video gamer and had several
friends in that community.

Adam was impressively knowledgeable about Marvel Comics, their creation, all the Marvel
movies, and Stan Lee. In the movies, he caught the sophisticated plots and subtle meanings that
typically go unnoticed by the casual moviegoer and could discuss these at length.
Adam was a most remarkable man and we will carry his light in our hearts forever and honor him
by letting it shine through.

We love you and miss you so, so much!
