Agnes "Koochie" Ferrara, 86 passed away Saturday Morning, February 15, 2020, with her family by her side at her home in Easton, PA.

She was born in Hackensack, NJ, the daughter of the late Joseph and Gertrude (Ripandelli) Forgione. She was married to the love of her life, John L. Ferrara, who passed away in 2012. Agnes was a graduate of Sarah J. Hale High School, NY, class of 1951. She was a very talented woman, with skills ranging from sewing, to the musical arts, to working with her hands. She had several jobs in her life, such as working at Kaplan in Easton as a blind cutter, a telephone operator, a seamstress and a hairdresser.

Koochie was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, in Easton. She was a very special lady who was incredibly witty, funny, kind, generous and was loved by everyone who were fortunate enough to have met her. She enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was the family comedian, and truly enjoyed a good dessert, with cake being her favorite treat.

Agnes is survived by her sister Mary Siano, of Staten Island, NY; her son, John and his wife Veronica Ferrara, of Kunkletown, PA; her daughter Donna and her husband Joseph Elmasri, of Bonita Springs, FL; grandchildren Joseph and John Elmasri, Donelle Kogman, and Tina Ferrara; great granddaughters Dakota Jones and Ocean Kogman.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Morello Funeral Home Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.). Additional Calling hour will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. in the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9 ^th & Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA. Interment will follow at Forks Cemetery in Forks Township.
