Albert A. Giovanni, 85, of Bethlehem, PA, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2014 in Old Orchard Manor Care. Born: Albert was born in Easton, PA, son of the late Pietro and Florinda (Manieri) Giovanni. Personal: Albert was married to Ida A. Giovanni before her passing in 2004. He was a Union Electrician for IBEW Local 367 & 102, before retiring 1990. He served in the US Navy during World War II. He enjoyed the Senior League at Bardon Bowling Lanes, golfing, and he loved to dance. Memberships: Albert was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church where he was a member of the choir. He was also a member of Knights of Columbus Union Council 345 of Easton, Pope Pius XII Assembly 4th Degree, and a Barbershop Quartet. Survivors: Albert is survived by a son Albert M. Giovanni of Pen Argyl; daughters Patricia Giovanni of Manchester, NH, Cynthia Tait and husband Phillip of Loveland, OH, Carol Yurgartis of Bushkill Twp.; sisters Patricia Remaley of Nazareth, Marcella Follwieler of Nazareth; grandchildren Kurt, Eric, Lauren, Andrea, Gregory, Allison; great-grandchildren Rene, Patricia, Sophia, and Ella. In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by a sister Mary Finocchio, and a brother Mario Giovanni. Services: A calling hour will be held on Thursday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in St. Jane Frances Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Palmer Twp.
