Albert Mendiolina, 79, of Easton, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hecktown Oaks. Born in Lima, Peru, he was a son of the late Humberto and Lucila (Hidalgo) Mendiolina. He worked as a chef for the Federal Grill, Allentown and later at the Denny's Allentown until his retirement.
Although he was not currently attending anywhere, Albert was catholic and held a strong belief and love of his faith. He enjoyed watching soccer games and was an avid National Peruvian Team fan. Albert loved to cook, he was very creative in the kitchen and liked to experiment with making new dishes. During his down time, he liked to watch action movies.
He is survived by his sons, Alberto Mendiolina of Whitehall; Manuel Mendiolina of Allentown; daughter, Laura Mendiolina and her husband, Joe Aspirrin of Easton; grandchildren, Saul Marambio, Carlos Correa, Christopher Linares, Melissa Mendiolina, Elia Mendiolina, and Julian Mendiolina; great grandchildren, Jair Marambio, Gianna and Genesis Marambio. He also leaves behind a sister, Catalina Farfan of Peru.
