Alexander J. Nagurney, Jr., 78, of Forks Twp., PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 in his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Easton, PA, a son of the late Alexander J. and Helene M. (Klein) Nagurney.

Alexander was married to his loving wife, the former Philomena "Phyllis" DeRaymond, with whom he celebrated 54 years of marriage. He was a graduate of Easton High School, class of 1960; received his Bachelor's Degree from Rider College, and his Master's Degree in Business Administration from Lehigh University. Alexander served in the US Army National Guard of New Jersey. He was an Accountant / CFO of Rexroth Hydraulics and later for the Catholic Diocese of Allentown. He loved sports, especially the Jets and the Mets; and classical music.

Alexander was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, and the National Association of Accountants.

In addition to his wife, Alexander is survived by his sons Jude and wife Amy Langrehr of Reston, VA, Matthew C. Nagurney and partner Josh Braun of Allentown, NJ, Alexander J. Nagurney III of Mountain View, HI; a sister Louise Deily and husband Charles of Bethlehem; a brother Frank Nagurney and wife Mary of Hattiesburg, MS; a brother-in-law Russell DeRaymond and wife Anne of Easton, and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 10:00 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9 ^th and Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA. Entombment will be in St. Anthony's Mausoleum. Due to the current COVID restrictions, masks are required and social distancing is recommended. Funeral arrangements are under the directions of Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp).
