Name: Alvin D. Dutter, 80, of Easton, formerly of Mt. Pocono, PA., passed away on Wednesday, July 7th at St. Lukes VNA Hospice House. Born: Al was born on February 6, 1930, in Newark, NJ, a son of the late Walter and Glenice McDonald Dutter. Personal: Al was a graduate of Stroudsburg High School Class of 1947. He was employed at Schaibles/Maiers Bakery as a driver/salesman for 37 years. He served in the U.S. Army as a Sgt. during the Korean War. His first wife of 40 years, Ann Marie Healey died in 1993. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, hunting, trips to casinos and traveling. He was a life member of Citizen Hose Co. Memberships: Al was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church of Easton, PA. Survivors: Al is survived by his second wife, the former Minnie E. Troxell, a daughter Barb Hurdle and her husband Robert of Bethlehem Twp., step-sons Chris Jones and his wife Diane of Palmer Twp., Robert Jones, Jr. of Warminster, PA, Richard Jones and his wife Donna of Lancaster, PA, a grandson Chris Hurdle of Conshohocken, PA, six step-grandchildren, and many friends. He is preceded in death by a brother Walter Dutter. Services: A calling hour will be held on Saturday from 8:30 am to 9:30 am in Morello Funeral Home, inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am in St. Janes Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Easton, PA. Interment will be at Northampton Memorial Shrine.
