Amit Mukherjee, 60, of Forks Twp., passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022 in St. Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem, PA surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Kolkata, India, the son of Satyendranath Mukherjee and the late Sandhya Chatterjee.

Amit was a graduate of Loyola High School ('77), Bengal Engineering ('83) college and received his Master's degree at Kansas State University ('87). He was a consulting professional civil engineer for 34 years at Base Engineering Inc in Allentown, PA.

Amit was married to the love of his life for 33 years, Pramilla Keswani Mukherjee. He was a fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers and also served at one time as the President of the Lehigh Valley Chapter. He enjoyed spending his time playing golf, cricket, badminton, singing and traveling with his family.

In addition to his father and wife Amit is is survived by a son Joydeb Gopal Mukherjee, of Forks Twp. He is preceded in death by a brother Partha Mukherjee.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in Morello Funeral Home, Inc. 3720 Nicholas Street Easton, PA 18045.
