Angelo Joseph "Duke" LaDuca, 92, of Easton, PA passed away peacefully on January 25, 2023 in his home surrounded by his family. Born on September 6, 1930 in Easton, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Sara Rosaria (Greco) LaDuca. Four years after his graduation from Easton High School in 1948, Angelo enlisted in the Army. He earned several medals including the Korean Service medal with 3 bronze stars, Good Conduct medal, the United Nations Service medal and the Combat Medical Badge. After his honorable discharge, Angelo met the love of his life, Rosalie Sclafani and married her on June 23, 1957.
Angelo worked as an investigator for the Department of Revenue after owning Duke's Bakery for seven years. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and served as the president for the Easton chapter of UNICO. During his leisure time, he enjoyed bowling with his league at Bardon Lanes, playing cards or making wine. For 27 years, he grew and tended to his one-acre vineyard and made wine for his family and friends.
Angelo is survived by his loving wife, Rosalie; children, Rick, Angelo and his wife, Monica, Diane and her husband, Jerry; sisters, Catherine, Joyce; grandchildren, Kelsey and her husband, Delfino, Kaylin and her husband, Joseph, Zachary, Joshua, Marissa, Adam and Kristen.
Visitation will be held on January 30, 2023 from 9:30 am until 10:30 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Ninth and Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.)
