Angelo "Simba" Testa, 92, of Palmer Twp., PA, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2020 in Old Orchard Health Care Center.
Angelo was born in Phillipsburg, NJ, a son of the late Antonio and Guisseppina (Caracozza) Testa.
Angelo was married to the former Anna S. Piscitello until her passing on April 4, 2020. He served in the US Army during the Korean War, specializing in explosives. He was awarded the Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal and Nation Defense Service Medal. Angelo was a member of Heavy and General Local 472 New Jersey, until his retirement. Angelo was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He especially enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his son.
Angelo was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, and a founding member of the Young Men's Italian Association of Phillipsburg, NJ.
Angelo is survived by a son Anthony Testa of Easton; a daughter Judy Mulhollan and husband Ken of Melbourne, FL; grandchildren Justin, Joshua, and Jeffrey Mulhollan, Anthony and Nicholas Testa; great-grandchildren Azlyn, Lucas, Hazel, and Emmet. In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his sisters Rose, Mary, Josephine, Bessie; brothers Joseph, Anthony, and Charles.
A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 10:00 am in the funeral home, in combination with a memorial service for his wife. Interment will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Williams Twp.
