Ann A. Banghart, 70, of Allentown, PA, formerly of Easton, PA, was called to the home of the Lord on Thursday, July 13, 2017 after a short and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Ann was born in Darmstadt, Germany on August 24, 1946 to the late Frederich and Susanna (Pfnauch) Buchsl.

Ann adored her family and was a loving housewife. She was an avid teapot and antique collector. She loved her Diet Coke no ice but even more her wonderful husband, Lewis Banghart.

In addition to her husband of 55 years, Lewis Banghart, Ann is survived by a sister Margarete Dieter and husband Russell of Wind Gap; daughters Tammy Shvets of Easton, Sandy Gordon and husband Richard of Forks Twp., Audra Banghart and husband Jeff of Slatington; six loving grandchildren Matthew Morris, Kaitlyn Kressler, Korryne Gordon, Dmitri Shvets, Kevin Kressler, and Kacey Kressler; three great-grandchildren Dominick, Dylan, and Chelsea Morris. She is preceded in death by her brothers Freidel and Reinhold, and a sister Marianna.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by a funeral service at 12:00 pm in the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
