Anna D'Angelo, 86, of Palmer Twp. passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at St. Luke's Hospital, Anderson Campus. Born on May 30, 1939 in Castellammare del Golfo, Sicily, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Carlo and Francesca (Barbara) Mione. In 1956, she and her family moved to the United States.

She was employed as a seamstress and later, she kept to her Italian roots by cooking at Steve's Pizzeria and Italian Family Restaurant. Anna showered her family with love gracing them with her talents in cooking, sewing, and making arts and crafts with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She would visit her birth country, Italy, any chance she had.

Anna is survived by her son, Stefano D'Angelo and his wife, Amber; daughters, Teresa D'Angelo; Francesca Melhem and her husband, DeGaulle, all of Palmer Twp.; siblings, Rosa Galante; Peter Mione; Nino Mione and his wife Marianne; Soccorso Mione; Francesca Ferrantelli; Marie Rizzo and her husband, Tony; Albert Mione and his wife, Lisa; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by a sister, Piera Infantino.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) An additional calling hour will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025 from 9:30 am until 10:30 am at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am in the church. Interment will follow at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery, Cherryville Road, Northampton.
