Anna Michelotti of Palmer Township passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2023. She was a devout member of the St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church where she was a faithful practitioner, a weekly communicant, a volunteer, and a member of the Woman's Group.

She was born in Italy and when she met her love, Frank Michelotti, she embarked on a fantastic adventure of starting a new life in America, despite not knowing the language.  She thrived and stayed involved in a host of social and professional activities, including receiving accreditation to be a substitute teacher for the Easton, Nazareth and Bethlehem School districts, serving as a private instructor in Italian, serving as a sponsor and adoptive parent for the Christian Foundation for children and aging, volunteering at Manor Care Nursing Home, a member of the AAUW, and of the Lehigh Institute of Italian Culture. She was also a former volunteer for Meals-On-Wheels and for several charitable organizations.

She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother and the love of her family was her sustaining force. She enjoyed swimming, walking cooking, sewing, tennis, bridge and bowling.  A force of nature, she will be lovingly remembered by the family she so deeply supported for the tireless resolve that she brought to her every pursuit.

She is survived by her three children: daughter, Marianne Hawk and husband Gregory Hawk of Fogelsville, Sons, Dr. Emil Michelotti and wife Dr. Julia Michelotti of Rockville, Maryland, Dr. Gregory Michelotti and wife, Cindy, of Chapel Hill, North Carolina and six grandchildren: Lauren and Allyson Hawk, Laura and Michael Michelotti, and Lexi and Mathew Michelotti as well as several nieces and nephews, all in Italy.
