Anthony D. Amato, Jr. 66, of Easton, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospital Fountain Hill.

Born in Easton on October 16, 1955, he was a son of Jane E. (Vandegrift) Amato and the late Anthony D. Amato, Sr. He graduated from Easton High School. Anthony worked at Ingersoll Rand until his retirement.

He was a member of the former Fleas club. Anthony enjoyed watching baseball and was an enthusiastic New York Met's fan. He liked to spend time outdoors and care for his garden of plants and flowers during the warmer weather. Anthony liked to keep his mind sharp by doing cross word puzzles and keeping up with the stock market and other financial investments.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his niece, Kelsey Jones; nephew, Ryan Amato and wife Michelle; great nephews, Jaxon and Preston; and great niece, Ryenn, all of Easton.

Besides his father, he was predeceased by his sister, Lucy Jones in November of 2015.
