Anthony G. Burkot

Anthony G. Burkot, 93, of Palmer Twp., PA passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hecktown Oaks. Born on April 27, 1933 in Easton, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Genevieve (Baurkot) Barket.

He graduated from Easton High School in 1950 and earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Moravian College. Anthony proudly served his country in the United Air Force. He was the operating manager for several gas stations. He was a member of Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church. Anthony enjoyed watching horse racing and traveling.

Anthony is survived by his sister, Ann Tshudy and her husband, Craig and his son, Andrew Burkot.

In addition to his parents, Anthony was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Lois Burkot; sister, Eva Farhat; and brother, George Barket.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 22, 2026 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) Prayer of the Incense will be at 7:30 PM in the funeral home. Divine Liturgy will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church, 55 South 4th Street, Easton, PA. Interment will be private.
