Name: Anthony Capobianco, 99 of Whitehall, formerly of Easton, passed away Wednesday September 4, 2013 in Phoebe Nursing Home, Allentown. Born: He was born on May 19, 1914 in Roseto, PA a son of the late Philip N. and Louise Capone Capobianco. Personal: Anthony was preceded in death by his wife, the former Kathleen Scrafano in 2006. He was the proprietor of Easton Blouse Company and later retired as foreman for Karen-Lu Sportswear in Washington, NJ in 1981. Anthony proudly served our country in the US Marines during WWII. Memberships: He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Easton. Anthony was also a member of the Northampton County Detachment Marine Corp. League in Easton, Martocci-Capobianco Legion Home in Roseto, and one of the original members of the AMVETS Post 17 in Easton. Survivors: Anthony is survived by his daughter, Adele and husband John Lukach of Whitehall, PA, sisters Mary Wieand of Allentown, Rose Capobianco of Bethlehem, Mamie Capobianco of Bethlehem, Carmel Fadero of Easton and Jennie Huerta of Winter Springs, FL. Services: Calling hours will be held on Friday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm and Saturday morning from 8:15am until 9:15am in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00am in the church, 9th and Lehigh Streets in Easton. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp.
