Name: Anthony Cardell, 92 of West Easton, PA passed away Wednesday December 28, 2011 in Easton Hospital, Wilson Boro. Born: He was born on January 11, 1919 in Reading, PA a son of the late Adam and Mary Cardell. Personal: Anthony and his wife the former Louise Savoni celebrated 26 years of marriage on December 22nd. He was employed as a steel tester for Carpenter Technology retiring in 1983. Anthony served our country in the US Army during WWII. Memberships: He was a very devoted member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Easton. Survivors: In addition to his wife, Anthony is survived by daughter-in-law Ruth Cardell wife of deceased son Donald; 2 grandchildren Michael and Brandy; 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Anthony is preceded in death by 2 sons, 2 sisters and 3 brothers. Services: A calling hour will be held on Saturday from 9:30am until 10:30am in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00am in the church, 9th and Lehigh Streets in Easton. Interment will be in St. Philip and St. James Cemetery, Phillipsburg, NJ.
