Anthony Joseph Dellanno, Sr., 79, of Palmer Twp. passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2023 in his home. Born on September 6, 1943, in Paterson, NJ, he was the son of the late Anthony George and Mary (Romanelli/Tobacco) Dellanno and late parents-in-law Alexander and Caroline Peplowski. Anthony served in and eventually retired from the United States Army having served for 24 years and earned medals for Marksman, 1st Class Gunner and Good Conduct.

He retired from AT&T, worked as a security guard for Easton Area School District, and loved to umpire baseball games.  He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Anthony was married to Carole (Peplowski) Dellanno for 56 years.

In addition to his wife, Anthony is survived by his five children and their respective spouses, Caroline & Frankie Cruz, Anthony & Lori Dellanno, Jr., Marianne & Gene Merritt, Christopher & Gloria Dellanno, John & Cristina Dellanno; his sister, Elaine VanRiper; and his ten grandchildren, Rebecca, Courtney, Anthony, Ashley, Kristie, Carli, Brendan, Damon, Addison, and Samantha.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 17, 2023 from 8:30 am until 9:30 am at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Ninth and Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am. Interment will be at Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp. Arrangements are entrusted to Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.)
