Anthony Lewis Fimiano, 95, of Easton, PA, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2019 in St. Luke's Anderson Campus.
Anthony was born in Easton, PA, a son of the late Frank and Mary (Fimiano) Fimiano.
Anthony was married to the former Beatrice Theresa Tomaino until her passing. He was a graduate of Easton High School, class of 1941. He was a World War II Veteran in the 66 th Black Panther Infantry Division and Army Air Force. Anthony worked at Ingersoll Rand of Phillipsburg for over 42 years, until retiring in 1984 where he was Forman of Drill Division Assembly Section, and Chief Stewart of United Steelworkers of America. Anthony was also a Master Plumber serving the Easton area for many decades.
Anthony was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. He was a Past President and Board of Directors of the Palmer Volunteer Fire Company, where he was a life member. He was also a life member of the West Easton Fire Company, and the Fearless Fire Company of Allentown. Anthony was former chairman for the Area 6 Northampton County Democratic Committee, committeeman of Palmer Middle 1, former member of Northampton County Democratic Committee; member of Easton Lodge No 152 F&AM, Rajah Shriners, Forks of Delaware Shrine Club, the Tall Cedars of Lebanon, 32 nd Degree Valley of Allentown, and Brown & Lynch Post American Legion. He was also former president of the Democratic Club of Palmer Twp.
Anthony is survived by daughters Linda Fowler and husband David of Forks Twp., Patricia Todaro and husband John of Forks Twp., Carol Butto of Forks Twp.; grandchildren Alicia Herzog, Mark Fowler, Bryan Butto, Gregory Butto; and great-grandchildren Jameson Fowler and Kelsey Herzog. In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his brothers Joseph and Dominic Fimiano.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with an additional calling hour on Friday from 8:15 am to 9:15 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9 th & Lehigh Streets, Easton. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
