Name: Anthony D. Rodriguez, 48 of Wilson Boro. passed away Thursday October 29, 2015 in St. Lukes Hospice House, Bethlehem. Born: He was born on January 23, 1967 in Reading, PA a son of Antonio and Eliasol (Colon) Rodriguez of Palmer Twp. Personal: We're incredibly saddened but know he's finally at peace, free from pain and sickness, enjoying the promise land that was made for him. He has touched so many lives. We know that his heart was set on serving and loving others, and he truly lived for his wife, children and grandchildren. His selfless ways were inspiring, he was optimistic and gentle with every one he knew. He was such a kindhearted man that always put a smile on your face. He really lived a purpose driven life and made everyone feel like they were part of the family. He was an amazing example of how we should all live. He was given the gift of life, and now he's been greeted at the gates of heaven by his beloved brother, Michael, and his sister, Lisa. He is certainly peaceful now with Angels above feeling his embrace, and love. Your family and friends will always cherish the memories you've made with them. Tony was an avid Dallas Cowboy Fan win or lose. He left this revolving world remembering spending evenings on his patio with his beautiful wife Joan,and their beloved dogs, Snoopy, Dallas and Muggsy. Also, holding his first born son, Michael, for the first time. Playing baseball with his son Anthony, and making memories with his Baby girl, Kalee. He's made so many memories that will certianly remain in our hearts forever. Before his passing, Tony and Joan found out that their daughter Jessica and husband Patrik will be welcoming a precious baby girl into the world in March 2016. We know in our hearts he will continue to bless us with his love and watch over us in Heaven. Tony was a devoted husband, father , son and friend. We are all blessed to have had his love and presence in our lives for so many years. We lost a fighter, but Heaven gained an angel. Forever you will remain our sweetest memory. Tony was employed as a welder at ACME Cryogenics of Allentown for 13 years. He was very active with Wilson Boro. baseball and football athletics. He also coached for Everlast Storm Baseball, Lehigh Valley Warhawks baseball, and Wilson Senior Legion Baseball. He took pride in coaching all his boys, He wanted them all to be successful, and never to give up on chasing their dreams. Survivors: Tony is survived by his wife the former Joan Janette; Parents Antonio and Eliasol Rodriguez of Palmer Pa, sons Anthony Rodriguez of Easton, Michael Reneker and wife Heather of Mechanicsburg, PA; step-sons Jason Pluto of Washington, NJ, Ryan Pluto and fianc Stephanie of Washington, NJ; daughter Kalee Rodriguez of Reading; step-daughter Jessica Jakub and husband Patrik of Oxford, NJ and grandchildren Carter, Shane, Kaleb and Bentley. Many Aunts, Uncles, nieces and nephews. His sister Lisa Perrotto and his brother Michael Rodriguez preceded Tony in death. Services: Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 12:00 noon until 3:00 pm in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer Twp. A time of remembrance will be held on Saturday at 3:00 PM in the funeral home. Interment will be private.
