Antoinette Rose Merlo, 89, formerly of Easton, PA, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2017 in Holy Family Manor. Antoinette was born in Easton, PA, a daughter of the late Santo and Carmella (Italiani) Bellante. Antoinette was married to Carmen J. Merlo Jr., before his passing. She was a graduate of Easton Catholic High School, class of 1945. Antoinette was a bookkeeper for Seiple's Farms and Hummel Lumber, both of Easton. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, tennis and volunteering at Crayola Crayon for many years. She and her husband enjoyed traveling and winters in Venice, FL. Antoinette was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church. Antoinette is survived by a daughter Michelle Moyer and husband Doug of Orefield; a son-in-law Anthony Glory of Easton; grandchildren Matthew MacGregor, Stephen Moyer, Lauren Moyer, Michelle Famularo, Stephanie Frederickson, Anna Shively; and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by a daughter Patricia Glory; a twin sister Helen Turdo; and a brother Lawrence Bellante. A calling hour will be held on Monday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:30 am in St. Jane Frances Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Palmer Twp. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
