Armin Kruppe, 84, of Palmer Twp., passed away on May 20, 2022, in St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. Born in Breslau, Germany, he was the son of the late Hermann and Kathe (Erna) Kruppe. After earning his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering in Germany, he came to The United States, furthered his education of statistics at the University of Pittsburgh and worked as a mechanical statistical engineer for AT&T until he retired in 1997.

Armin was an avid bowler and played many games at Bar-Don Bowling Alley in Palmer Twp. Later in life, he participated in the senior golf league. He and his wife, Margaret Berteotti, enjoyed adventures of hot air ballooning and were part of the Olympus Corporate Balloon Team.

In addition to his wife, Margaret, Armin is survived by a son, Andreas Kruppe of Herne, Germany; brother, Hans Kruppe of Dortmund, Germany.

Calling hours will be Saturday, June 11, 2022, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.). A memorial service will follow in the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
