Arthur Elwood Bonstein, 86, of Easton, passed away Friday, December 14, 2018.

Arthur was born in Easton, PA, a son of the late John J. and Anna A. (Meixsell) Bonstein.

Arthur was married to Bernice M. (Rufe) Bonstein, with whom he celebrated 65 years of marriage last June. He attended Easton Area High School.  He was previously a driver at Trumbauers Cement Co., in Nazareth, as well as a school bus driver for Easton Area School District. More recently he was employed as a foreman at the former Schaibles Bakery until his retirement, and was the proprietor of Arthur Bonstein and Son Auctioneering in Easton.

Arthur was a member of Easton Lodge F & AM, the Wilson Borough Republican Club, and the Bakery and Confectionery Union.

Arthur was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a kind, caring man to all of his relatives and friends. He was a true family man who will be missed dearly.

In addition to his wife, Arthur is survived by his son Mark A. Bonstein and wife Paula of Bethlehem Twp; daughters Wendy L. Bonstein of Easton, Terry A. Knibbs of Easton, Sharon F. Engle of Easton, and Michele L. Morello and husband John of Palmer Twp.; nine grandchildren Kristine Sloggett, Ryan Knibbs and wife Abby, Robert Knibbs, Jr., Cassandra Mahmoud, Christopher Morello, Jillian Morello, Jonathan Morello, Parker Bonstein and Chase Bonstein; five great grandchildren Tyler Faur, Saharah Mahmoud, Yassin Mahmoud, Liam Medina, and Lilly Medina. He is preceded in death by brothers Kenneth Bonstein and Willard Bonstein and a son-in-law Robert Knibbs, Sr.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with Masonic Services at 7:30pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). An additional calling hour will be held on Tuesday from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm followed by a funeral service at 1:30pm in the funeral home. Interment will be at Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
