Obituary

Atul Amarshi Kharecha, 71, of Easton, PA, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 in Easton Hospital.

Atul was born in Rajkot, India, and was the son of the late Amarshi and Kanta (Khambhayata) Kharecha.

Atul was married for 46 years to Hansa (Vadgama). He was the decades-long owner and co-founder of Accu Machining Center in Easton, PA. He was an active member of the US Carrom Association and received recognition from the Guinness Book of World Records for longest recorded carrom match. He was also an active member of the Lehigh Valley Cricket Club. His kindness and generosity were truly exemplary he donated to numerous domestic and international charities over the years, including the Share & Care Foundation and UNICEF.

In addition to his wife, Atul is survived by a son Pushker Kharecha and wife Kinnari; a daughter Shilpa Kharecha; sisters Jayshree Gajjar of India and Achala Rao; a brother Kishor Kharecha; and grandchildren Vinay and Saaya. Spending quality time with his family was one of Atul's greatest joys in life.

A memorial service will be held Sunday from 2:30 to 4:30 pm in Morello Funeral Home, 3720 Nicholas St, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp).
