Barbara Ann (Bailey) Bedevian, 96, of Williams Twp. passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at Country Meadows in Bethlehem. Born on April 30, 1928 in Mount Kisco, NY, she was the daughter of the late Guy and Margaret (McCormick) Bailey.

She graduated from high school in Amenia, NY and furthered her education by earning her Bachelor's Degree from Mount Holyoke College. Barbara's thirst for knowledge did not end there. She pursued her Master's Degree and PhD in psychology from NYU. After graduation, she taught psychology at The City University of New York and NYU.

In April of 1977, she married the love of her life, Jack Bedevian. Together, they loved to travel nationally and internationally and briefly lived in Iran when Jack's career led them there. Barbara was a very caring and supportive person who was a coach for Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous. During her leisure time, she enjoyed gardening and reading.

In addition to her husband, Barbara is survived by her son, Kirk Bedevian of White Plains, NY; grandsons, Brett and Brandon.
