Barbara Irene Bucciaglia, 89, of Palmer Twp., PA, passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg.

She was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, a daughter of the late Martin and Irene (Blazejewski) Sapiego.

Barbara was married to James R. Bucciaglia, with whom she celebrated 64 years of marriage last October. She was a graduate of Central Catholic School in Reading, class of 1949. She graduated from Mercy Fitzgerald University with a Nursing Degree. She was a Registered Nurse for Centra State in Freehold, NJ until retiring in 1991. Barbara enjoyed gardening, sewing, crafting, traveling with her family, and decorating. She especially loved flowers and butterflies.

Barbara was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church; and a former member of St. Thomas More Church in Manalapan, New Jersey.

In addition to her husband, Barbara is survived by her daughters Kathy Tracy and husband George of St. Augustine, FL, Linda Busalacchi and husband John of Easton, Karole Bradunas and husband Terry of Hampton, NJ; a sister Kay Swierczewski of Wyomissing, PA; grandchildren Stephanie, Laura, John, Tom, Peter, Katie, Allie; great-grandchildren Madelyn and Kellan. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers-in-law Edward Swierczewski and Edmond O'Connor.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 11:00 am in St. Thomas More Church, 186 Gordons Corner Road, Manalapan, NJ. Interment will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 10:00 am in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem, PA.
