Barbara J. Pearse, 74, of Palmer Twp. passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024. Born on July 16, 1949 in Fort Lewis, WA, Barbara was the daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Johnson) Tully. After graduation, Barbara attended business school and entered the workforce. She first worked for the PBS TV station in Washington, and later as a staff development specialist for the Aurora, Colorado Public Schools.

Barbara met the love of her life, Robert R. Pearse, to whom she was married for over 48 years. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, and doting grandmother. She was an active member of the Big Brother, Big Sisters organization, as well as the Lehigh Valley Garden Club. Barbara was an unbelievably kind and neighborly person. She was an incredibly talented baker and was known nationwide for her gingerbread cookies, harvest bread and granola.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Joseph Pearse and his partner, Toni Panetta of California; daughter, Sarah Pearse and her partner, David Wilson of Arizona; grandchildren, Cohen and Savannah; sister, Sue Thompson and her husband, Jim of Washington.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Tully.
