Barbara E. Rabbitt, 80, formerly of Palmer Twp., passed away on June 30, 2018, surrounded by her loving family at Country Meadows in Forks Twp.

Barbara was born in Brooklyn, New York to the late LeRoy and Mary (Sinchak) Kresge.

She was a graduate of St. Brendan High School in Brooklyn, NY, class of 1955. She wed the love of her life, James W. Rabbitt, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage.  Barbara was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed reading and caring for her family and was a lover of all animals, especially her Westies.

Barbara was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church in Palmer Twp., PA. She was also a member of the Rosary Society.

In addition to her husband,Barbara is survived by her six children, Susan Burgueno and her husband Joshua, of Las Vegas, NV; Mary Feola of Long Branch, NJ; Dianne Byers and her husband John, of Sparta, NJ; James P. Rabbitt and his wife Lauren, of Newton, NJ;  Ann Rabbitt, of Annandale, NJ; and Kathleen Holzmacher and her husband Bryan, of Easton, PA; also her brother LeRoy W. Kresge of Nazareth, PA,  16 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her brother, Peter Kresge.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Morello Funeral Home Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.), PA. An additional calling hour will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 6, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 40 49 Hartley Ave, Easton, PA. Interment will follow at Good Shephard Catholic Cemetery in Green Township, NJ.
