Barry L. Kehler Sr., 69 of Palmer Township, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2013 in St. Lukes Hospital Anderson Campus. Born: Barry was born August 4, 1944 in Easton, PA, a son of the late Lamar Kehler. He is survived by his stepmother Annabelle (Weddell) Kehler of Nazareth, PA. Personal: He served as a professional fire fighter for twenty seven years before retiring and moving on to a second career as a code and zoning officer for the Borough of PenArgyl. In addition to his stepmother, Barry is survived by his wife, Nancy A. (Billone) Kehler, with whom he celebrated their forty-ninth wedding anniversary, on September 12. Memberships: Barry was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, in Bethlehem, the NRA, and Retired Fire Fighters Association. He was a 1962 graduate of Wilson High School. Survivors: In addition to his wife and stepmother, Barry is survived by his son Barry L. Jr. and his wife Rhonda of Charleston, South Carolina; sisters, June Bloom of Carrollton Texas, Jane Kemmerer of Signal Mountain Tennessee, Nancy L. Lutz of Easton, PA; grandchildren Robert, Stephanie, Brittanie, and seven great grandchildren.
