Name: Benny Cottone, 87 of Easton, Pa passed away Monday April 13, 2009 in Old Orchard Manor Care, Bethlehem Township, PA Born: He was born on August 10, 1921 in Scranton, PA a son of the late Nicolo and Giuseppa (Truncali) Cottone. Personal: Benny was predeceased by his wife the late Pellegrina Fannie Falco. He was employed as a cabinet maker for Dun-Rite Kitchen Cabinets in Elmont, Long Island retiring in 1983. Benny served in the Italian Army during WWII. Memberships: He was a member of St. Anthonys of Padua Catholic Church, Easton Survivors: Benny is survived by a sons Nicolo and his wife Anna Maria of Long Island, NY, Joseph and his wife Mary Anne of Maspeth, NY and Paul and his wife Debbie of Laurys Station, PA; a daughter Josephine Grisafi and her husband Calogero "Charlie" of Palmer Twp; a sister Calogera Cottone of Caltabellotta, Italy; a brother Calogero Cottone of Caltabellotta, Italy; grandchildren Kathleen, Salvatore, Angelica, Joseph, Benny, Tommy, Christina, Melissa, Jessica and John and Great-Grandchildren Rosario, Vito, Calogero, Salvatore, Nicholas, Noah, Rosamaria, Josephine and Alessia. In addition to his wife, Sister Paula and Brothers Joseph and Paola Cottone preceded Benny in death. Services: Calling hours will be held Saturday April 18 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm, 6:00pm until 8:00pm, Sunday April 19 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm and Monday April 20 from 8:15am until 9:15am In the Morello Funeral Home, Inc. 3720, Nicholas St. Palmer Twp., PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM in St. Anthonys of Padua Catholic Church, 9th and Lehigh Streets in Easton. Entombment will follow in St. Anthonys Cemetery.
