Bernard J. Rafferty, 98, of Easton, passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at his home with his loving family by his side. Born in Easton on April 21, 1927 he was a son of the late James N. and Elizabeth T. (Sheetz) Rafferty.

He graduated from Easton Catholic High School class of 1945 and enlisted in the United States Navy. Upon his return home he began his 42 year long career at Ingersoll Rand working in the Cameron Pump Division. He was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Roman Catholic Church. Bernard loved to attend whatever sport or activity that his grandchildren were involved in. He liked spending time outside whether he was fishing or taking walks with his wife. He also enjoyed bowling.

Bernard is survived by his daughters, Patricia Williams and Rosemary Rafferty; grandchildren, Willie Williams and his wife, Joanna; Jermaine Williams and his wife, Maggie; Andrea Carney and her husband, Sean; Sara Rafferty; Bernard Rafferty, Jr. and his wife, Krista; 10 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Emma (Schwartz) Rafferty; son, Bernard Rafferty, Sr.; and brothers, James C. Rafferty, Francis W. Rafferty, and Girard S. Rafferty.

A calling hour will be held from 9:15AM-10:15AM on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Roman Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Easton, PA 18045. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the church at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, William Penn Hwy., Easton. Arrangements are entrusted to Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) Memorial contributions in Bernard's name may be made to St. Jane Frances de Chantal Roman Catholic Church.
