Obituary

Bessie Mosellie, 84, of Wilson Boro, PA, entered the Gates of Heaven on Monday, February 4, 2019 in Easton Hospital.

Bessie was born in Easton, PA, a daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Corpora.

Bessie was married to George T. Mosellie until his passing in 2007. She was a graduate of Easton High School, class of 1952. Bessie was co-proprietor of Easton Baking Company. She was a devout Catholic especially dedicated to the Blessed Mother. Her joy in life was being a giving person to friends, family and strangers. One of her greatest joys was preparing holiday traditions around the table sharing food and love. She was the matriarch of her family, and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.

Bessie was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, the Golden Age, and the Daughters of Fatima. She volunteered for Easton Hospital Medical Records for 34 years. She dedicated countless hours to St. Jane's church and school organizing many fundraisers including bingo and spaghetti dinners. She also was involved with Girl Scouts, PTA, CCD and ASPO.

Bessie is survived by a son George Mosellie and wife Lea; daughters Donna M. Garr and husband Clifford, Patricia A. Mosellie, "Mitzi" Margaret L. Petty and husband Joseph, Teresa J. Sulla and husband Frank; grandchildren Clifford, Matthew, and Alysia Garr, Kaden Mosellie; great-grandchildren Wesley, Holden, and Giulia Garr; sisters Fanny Lupi, Vancy Rinaldi; brothers Dominick "Vito", Placido, and Joseph Corpora. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her sisters Anna Corpora Wyker, and Mary Grace Corpora who died in infancy.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with an additional calling hour on Thursday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:30 am in St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Palmer Twp. Interment will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Williams Twp.
