Bolivar Colberg, 86, of Forks Twp. passed away peacefully in his home on September 5, 2023. Born in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico on June 26, 1937, he was the son of the late Antimo and Providencia (Lopez) Colberg.

He worked as the Market Manager for Royal Farms for 37 years. He belonged to the Union Local 338. In his pastime, he enjoyed fishing, playing dominoes, and watching baseball, especially the Boston Red Sox. Bolivar was a devoted pastor for the First Evangelical Mennonite Church of Brooklyn.

Bolivar was preceded in death by his beautiful bride, Sara Colberg who passed away on August 16, 2023. In three weeks, the two will be together in heaven celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary.

Bolivar is survived by his sons, David Colberg and his wife, Jana; Noel Colberg and his wife, Julissa; Joel Colberg and his wife, Musette; daughters, Elizabeth Colberg-Torres and her husband, Benjamin; Ruth David and her husband, Gregory; sisters, Vivian Romero, Milagros Garcia; brother, Edwin Colberg; grandchildren, David Anthony, Jessica Angelique and her husband, James Somma, Benjamin Joseph, Alyssa Beth, Emily Nicole, Jennifer Love, Stephanie Faith, Kayla Francesca, Timothy Noel, Hunter Ryan, Izabella Jade; and a great-grandchild, James David.

In addition to his wife and parents, Bolivar was preceded in death by his daughter, Abigail Colberg; sisters, Elizabeth Torres, Carmen Mathews Luna, Sonia Martinez Colberg; brothers, Wilson Colberg, Giovanni Colberg, and Santos Colberg.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.)
