Bonita B. Jodz, 71, of Palmer Twp., passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018 surrounded by her loving family at her home.
Bonita was born in Wilmington, DE, a daughter of the late Paul and Louise (Della Rocca) Bruno.
Bonita was a graduate of Padua Academy in Wilmington, DE, class of 1964. She also completed a bachelors degree at the University of Delaware. She worked as a high school history teacher for three years after graduation.
Bonita was the loving wife of Victor P. Jodz with whom she shared 50 years of marriage. She was a devoted and loving homemaker for her family. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Bonita had a deep passion for her Catholic faith and Italian heritage.
In addition to her husband, Bonita is survived by sons Philip Jodz and his wife Meghan of Wynnewood, PA; Nicolas Jodz of Easton; daughters Laura Jodz of Los Angeles, CA; Theresa Jodz and her husband Steven Gelb of Ithaca, NY; three grandchildren Madeleine Jodz, Christopher Jodz, and Jacob Gelb; and a sister Paula Hankel and her husband Richard of Lancaster, PA.
