Boyd M. Moore II of Easton, PA passed at the age of 69 on May 27, 2026. He fought a courageous battle against pancreatic cancer. His passing leaves a profound void in the lives of many who knew him.
Born to Boyd and Geraldine Moore, Boyd grew up in Forks Twp. where he loved riding his dirt bike. He graduated from Easton Area High School with the class of 1974.
Boyd worked many types of jobs throughout his life. He would often quote the motto “He who obtains has little but he who scatters has much.” He was employed at Baker Chemical, New Quaker Dye, and Hess Dept. Store. He was an independent contractor for 18years for the Morning Call. He was co-owner of the gas station at Union Square in Phillipsburg, NJ. He had worked at 25th Beer and Soda. He was also co-owner of Se-Wy-Co Beverage in Saucon Valley. He was a route sales rep for FritoLay for 7 years. He was a manager of the Dollar Express in Easton and Phillipsburg. He worked for Miller Ace Hardware in Northampton and landed his last job at Sacred Heart by The Creek also in Northampton.
Boyd was a hard worker and worked multiple jobs more than once in his life. His passion above all else was house painting. He painted with his wife for many years and had a loyal following of satisfied customers who also became friends. He was his happiest when he painted.
He loved a variety of things in his life, stargazing, gardening, home repair, live entertainment, cooking, day trips and long drives. He was proud of his 36 years of sobriety.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Beverly; his sister, Marlene of Newark, DE; his children, Katie Moore Koehler of Andreas, Isaac, Rebecca, Madeline; and nine grandchildren.
