Boyer Timothy Serfass, 63, of Easton, PA passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018 in Easton Hospital. Born in Betts Hospital Easton, September 13, 1954, he was the son of Dr. L. Shimer Serfass, an Easton Optometrist, and Pauline (Frankenfield) Serfass.
Tim was a graduate of Easton Area High School class of 1972 and served in the US Army from 1973-1976 as a Chauffeur of the High Command in Heidelberg Germany. After earning an Associates Degree from Churchman Business School, he worked as a Computer Operator at Cigna. He took an early retirement in 2009 when he won the Pennsylvania Lottery and enjoyed his later years buying the cars he wanted to drive and sending presents to family and friends who would enjoy a surprise. His hobbies were bicycling, photography and listening to his vast vinyl record collection.
He is survived by a sister Caroline (Carrie) Serfass and her husband Paulsen K. (Paul) Vandevert of Dearborn, MI; half-sister Jo-Ann S. Davis of Bangor, PA; a nephew John Vandevert of Princeton, NJ; and his mothers sisters whom he adored.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Should one wish to contribute to a cause, the family suggests The Nature Conservancy Pennsylvania.
