Brendan J. Duffe

Brendan J. Duffe, 92, of Easton, PA passed away on September 18, 2026 at St. Luke’s Hospice House in Bethlehem, PA. Born in Brooklyn, NY on May 17, 1934, he was a son of the late Thomas G. and Alice G. (Reahl) Duffe.

He graduated from Far Rockaway High School, class of 1952. He attended the Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute and later worked as a draftsman in New York City. Brendan honorably served as a Specialist in the United States Army from 1957-1959. After the army, he became a draftsman and later on a licensed Architect in both NJ and Pennsylvania. He was a proprietor of Malloy, Duffe and Foran Architects and Planners in Trenton, NJ for 25 years, retiring in 2004. He was also a member of the AIA and the NJSA-Society of Architects.

While living in Hopewell, NJ and raising a family, Brendan was very involved in his local parish of St. Alphonsus and was a member of the Knights of Columbus as well as serving as president on the the parish council. After retirement and moving, he was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Roman Catholic Church in Easton, PA.

Brendan is survived by his daughter Catherine E. Gorman and her husband, Brian of Robbinsville, NJ, his son Christopher K. Duffe and significant other, Sarah Haun of Quakertown, PA and daughter Jennifer A. Galdo and her husband, William of Hampshire, IL; grandchildren, Stephen Galdo, Brendan Galdo, Julia Galdo, and Riley Gorman; and great granddaughter Maria Victoria Galdo. He also leaves behind a brother, Thomas K. Duffe and his wife, Nancy of Toms River, NJ. As well as a nephew Thomas F. Duffe and niece Katie A. Cox and her husband, Edward.

In addition to his parents, Brendan was preceded in death by his loving wife of 51 years, Patricia A. (Wilverding) Duffe.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Easton, PA. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, William Penn Hwy., Easton.
