Calogero Charlie Grisafi, 71, of Palmer Twp., PA, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2015 in his daughters home. Calogero was born in Caltabellotta, Sicily, a son of the late Salvatore and Angelica (Aiello) Grisafi. Calogero was married to the former Josephine Cottone, with whom he celebrated 48 years of marriage on April 22. He served in the Italian Army during peacetime. Calogero was self-employed for C&S Construction in Long Island, NY, and lastly as proprietor of Charles Pizza of Whitehall. He was a dedicated family man devoted to his wife, children, and grandchildren. Calogero was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, and the former Antica Triocola Italian Club. In addition to his wife, Calogero is survived by a son Salvatore C. Grisafi and wife Tracey of Northampton; a daughter Angelica Maria Amato and husband Giuseppe of Macungie; a sister Giuseppa Scarpinati of Caltabellotta; brothers Pelligrino Grisafi of Caltabellotta, Giuseppe Grisafi of Ridgewood, NY; grandchildren Calogero Grisafi, Salvatore Grisafi, Jr, Vito Amato, Rosamaria Amato, and Josephine Amato. He is preceded in death by a sister Paola Marcante, and a grandchild Frances Grisafi. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm with an additional calling hour on Monday from 8:15 am to 9:15 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th & Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA.
