Carmella J. "Millie" Montoro, 90, passed away on April 5, 2022, in St. Luke's Anderson Campus. Born in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Re) Mugavero. She was the wife of the late Dante J. Montoro.
Carmella graduated in 1949 from Phillipsburg High School and worked as a telephone operator. She later became a supervisor of the Easton School District cafeteria until she retired in 1993. Carmella was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church. In her years of raising her children, she was an active member of the PTA. She enjoyed going to the casinos in Atlantic City, was a true blue fan of the NY Yankees and enjoyed Villanova basketball.
Carmella is survived by three daughters, Rosemary L'Erario and her husband, Frank, of Eastampton, NJ, Patrice Cardell of Palmer Twp., PA, and Michele Mohr and her husband Chris of Phoenix, AZ; and a granddaughter, Kathryn Cardell.
In addition to her parents and husband, Carmella was predeceased by two sisters, Lucy Figlio and Angela Mugavero.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) 18045. There will be a private burial service for the immediate family. A graveside Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Anthony's Cemetery, in Williams Twp.
