Catherine E. Butz, 94, formerly of Easton, PA, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018 in Gracedale Nursing Home.

Catherine was born in Easton, PA, a daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Guzzo) Capanna.

Catherine was married to Franklin I. Butz until his passing in 1986. She was a graduate of Easton High School. Catherine was a seamstress for numerous shops in the garment industry.

She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, and the Golden Age Club.

Catherine is survived by a son Frank Butz and wife Jane of Bethlehem; a daughter Helen Hart and husband Robert of Bangor; grandchildren Deborah, Thomas, Jodi, Alison; step-grandchildren Paul, Thomas, Amy; great-grandchildren Dillan, Jazmine, Hailey, Sarah, Damien, Zachery, Phoenix, Drayven, and Tyrus. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by sisters Mafalda Gibson, Bessie Saszi; brothers Frank and Sam Capanna.
