Catherine was born in Bethlehem, PA, a daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Scarpino) DeBona. Catherine celebrated 68 years of marriage with her husband William J. Yankowy. on November 29th. Catherine was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Bath, PA. Catherine is survived by a daughter Juliann Garcia and husband Robert of Nazareth; her sons Nicholas J. Yankowy and wife Michele of Easton, Michael A. Yankowy and wife Sharon of Cresco, PA; grandchildren Andrea, Tiffany, Brooke, Joshua, Kyle, Colleen, Brenda, Eric, Kiesha, Rob, Travis and Jessica; twenty one great-grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by a son William P. Yankowy, and a brother Nicholas DeBona. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and also on Wednesday from 12:30 pm until 1:30pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 2:30pm in Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 210 E. Northampton Street, Bath, PA. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
