July 21, 1938 – March 6, 2021
Charles "Tony" Anthony Bell, 82, of Easton, PA, passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2021 in Muhlenberg Hospital due to complications from the Corona Virus.
Tony was born in Paterson, NJ, a son of the late Charles P. and Marguerite V. (Fenny) Bell.
Tony was a graduate of the Aquinas Institute of New York, and Fordham University in Bronx, NY. While at Fordham, he was a proud member of the "Purshing Rifles Unit". Tony served in the US Army and retired with the ranking of LTC. Tony was a retired financial advisor working through Bernard Herald from the New York Stock Exchange. He was also a Certified Flight Instructor and enjoyed his days in the sky with his students. He was forced to stop due to a heart condition. Tony was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, and the Knights of Columbus.
Tony is survived by his beloved companion for over 16 years Delores Pungitore; a sister Margaret Mary Bell and husband Steve Bartos; brothers Michael J. Bell and wife Lei, James P. Bell and wife Mary Lynn; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother John E. Bell but remained very close to John's wife Patricia Klorer.
A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Palmer Twp. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
Tony was a gentle person who had a kind word for everyone. He will be missed by all who knew him.
