Obituary

Charles V. Sancinito, 79, of Easton passed away early Thursday morning, August 6, 2015. Charles was born in Easton, PA, the son of the late Louis and Lucy (Puccio) Sancinito. Charles was married to Angeline (Romano) Sancinito, with whom he celebrated 56 years of marriage on July 4. He was a graduate of Easton High School, class of 1955. Charles was a star high school basketball player. Charles served in the United States Army as a military policeman in South Carolina and was honorably discharged in 1964. He was a meat cutter for many years in various grocery stores and enjoyed traveling with his family. Charles was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, in Easton. He also was an active member of the American Legion Martocci and Capobianco Post 570. In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by three sisters: Stella Troxell, of Easton, Frances Romagnoli and her husband Bruno, of Easton, and Dolores Sullivan and her husband Ramon, of Bethlehem Twp.; two sisters-in-law: Connie Sancinito, of Morrisville, and Rose Sancinito of Bethlehem Twp. Charles is also survived by several nieces, nephews, family and friends. Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were two brothers: Richard and Joseph Sancinito and his sister Baby Grace. Charles will be forever remembered by all who loved him. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Morello Funeral Home Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Easton, (Palmer twp.), and also on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. in the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 9th and Lehigh Streets in Easton. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, in Palmer Twp.
