Claire P. Capomaggi, 86, of Palmer Township passed away on February 11, 2023 in St. Luke's Hospital Anderson Campus, Easton PA.

She was born in Jersey City, NJ, a daughter of the late James J. and Anna M. (Marrone) Porfano.

Claire was a graduate of Saint Dominic Academy in Jersey City, New Jersey. She worked in the New York City metro area after school, but became a homemaker when her children were young.  Claire re-entered the workforce when they were older, working for many years in administration for health care including Easton Hospital.

Claire was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church, in Easton, PA. Claire enjoyed arts and crafts, making pine cone wreaths, decoupage, ceramics, gourmet cooking, baking for bake sales at the church, and travelling with her late husband in their retirement.

Claire is survived by her two sons T. Austin Capomaggi, of Arlington, VA and John A. Capomaggi and his wife Nicole, of Virginia Beach, VA, a brother Donald L. Porfano and his wife Virginia "Ginny", of Virginia Beach, VA. In addition to her parents, Claire was preceded in death by her loving husband Alfred S. Capomaggi.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Morello Funeral Home Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street Easton, (Palmer Twp.) PA 18045. An additional calling hour will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2023 in the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m in St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church, 4049 Hartley Ave. Easton, PA 18045. Interment will take place at Whiting Memorial Park, in Whiting, NJ, at a future date.
