Name: Clara Rickert, 94, of Easton, passed away on Sunday, April 22nd in Manor Care. Born: Clara was born on March 3, 1918, in Wilson Boro, PA, a daughter of the late Marriano and Rosa Garaudo Guzzo. Personal: Clara worked as an assembler for Weller Electric earlier in her life, and later as a homemaker. She was devoted to her husband, son and mother-in-law for many years. Memberships: Clara was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, the Senior Circle, and the Golden Age Society. She also volunteered at Easton Hospital for many years until she was 90. Survivors: Clara is survived by her son George R. Rickert and his wife Tanny of Saylorsburg; nieces Ann Hedden, Marian Miers; nephew Sonny Montilone; four step-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, George G. Rickert in 1996; sister Esther Montilone; brothers Tony, Frank and Samuel Guzzo. Services: A calling hour will be held on Friday from 8:30 am to 9:30 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 am in St. Janes Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Eaton, PA. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
