Clare M. Castello, 85, of Wilson Boro, PA, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016 in the home of her daughter Carolyn.

Clare was born in Bridgeport, CT, a daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine (OGorman) McGannon.

Clare was married to Robert Castello before his passing. She received her Bachelors Degree in Education from Fairfield University. Clare was a School Teacher at Fairfield Public School District, CT. She then devoted her life to raising her three children until they were grown. She then went on to work at the Bucks County Free Library Doylestown, PA for over 20 years until she retired in 2009. She loved to read, cook, travel, and attend the theater.

Clare was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Doylestown, PA.

Clare is survived by a son Brian Castello; daughters Carolyn Snyder and husband Tom, Lauren Driscoll and husband John; grandchildren Chris and wife Brooke, Sarah Marie, Sarah Rose; great-grandchildren Arianna, Jayzin, Aliyah, KaMonni, Alianna, Aiden, Brody and Dahlia. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by a sister Marie McGannon; brothers Raymond and Thomas McGannon.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.), followed by a funeral service at 5:00 pm in the funeral home. Interment will be private in the Doylestown Cemetery.
