Obituary

With heavy hearts, but beautiful memories of a life well lived, we mourn the passing of our Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather, Colleague and Friend "Doc" Clarence J. Serfass Jr., who spent the last 5 years living at Moravian Hall Square but lived most of this life in Palmer Township, PA.

Dr. Serfass passed away on December 24th, 2021 in Moravian Hall Square, Nazareth, PA.

Born on the Serfass family farm in Gilbert, PA, he was the only child of the late Clarence Serfass Sr. and Elsie Serfass  Willever.

Clarence was the loving and devoted husband to Dora Ann Serfass for 66 years. He was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School, class of 1948. He served in the US Army Airforce during the Korean Conflict and was stationed at Presque Isle Maine Air Force Base.

After serving in the military, he put himself through college, graduating from Moravian College Bethlehem, PA, and the Temple Dental School in Philadelphia, PA.

He moved his family to Palmer Township in 1963 and opened a dental office where he made many great friends. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, model trains, antique cars and antique gasoline engines.

Clarence was very active in Freemasonry and was a Life Member of Easton Lodge #152 Free and Accepted Masons, Rajah Shrine, Knights Templar and The Tall Cedars. He was also a member of The Antique Automobile Club of America, The Tired T's Model T Club, Palmer Kiwanis, St. John's UCC of Nazareth, and then the First Baptist Church of Bethlehem.

He will be deeply missed by his wife Dora A. Serfass, sons Mark J. Serfass (Marion) of Vienna, VA, Brian J. Serfass (Ann Marie) of Easton, PA; daughter Jamie L. Miller (Brett); grandchildren Ryan and Rachel Miller, Jonah and Ella Serfass, Anna and Christopher Serfass; brothers Barry Willever (Judy), Ronnie Willever (Gayla), Terry Willever (Joni), and sister Joan Bellfy (Jim, died earlier).

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp).
