Constance M. DiGiacomo, 94, of Easton, PA, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 in Country Meadows Nursing Home.
Constance was born in Manhattan, NY, a daughter of the late Ignazio and Rosa (Errante) Stragratanio.
Constance was married to Peter DiGiacomo before his passing. She attended Mary Help of Christians School in Manhattan. Constance was a machine operator, and also co-proprietor of a grocery store in Brooklyn, NY before retiring in 1975. She enjoyed word puzzles, traveling, and reading.
Constance was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Golden Age in Easton, and the West Ward Ladies Democratic Club.
Constance is survived by a daughter-in-law Carole DiGiacomo-Giannascoli; grandchildren Heather Dennis of Miami, FL, Peter DiGiacomo of Douglasville, PA; great-grandchildren Cauley, Cameron, Christian, and Coleman Dennis; nieces Roseann Cicerello of NJ, Joanne Strenta of NY. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her brothers Joseph and Horace Stragratanio.
A calling hour will be held on Friday from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th & Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 1:30 pm in the church. Interment will be in St. Anthonys Cemetery, Williams Twp.
