Danielle Nicole DeCapua, 46, of Nazareth, PA, passed away unexpectedly in her home on Saturday, August 5, 2023. Danielle was born on September 29, 1976 in Port Jarvis, NY, and was the daughter of Joseph DeCapua and his wife, Doreen and Kathi (Elko) Thomas and her husband, Gregory.

She was a 1995 graduate of Freedom High School in Bethlehem, PA. Danielle recently worked as an accounting manager for Monroe Food Systems. Prior to that she was an accounting and HR manager for IDCS Inc. for twelve years. Danielle was passionate about volunteering her time to various organizations and charities. She would spend the Christmas Eve holiday with her niece and nephew at Safe Harbor donating to those in need. Danielle also loved to paint and to go hiking. Her greatest love was spending time with her family, especially with her niece and her nephew, Baylee and Collin who were her pride and joy.

In addition to her parents, Danielle is survived by her sister, Kara Lee Meischeid her husband Christopher of Palmer Township; step-sisters, Kelly Stranzl her husband Rich of Easton, Sarah Thomas of Easton; step-brothers Michael DeCapua his wife, Katie of Bethlehem; and Scott Thomas his wife Heather of Pen Argyl. She also leaves behind her nieces and nephews, Baylee and Collin Meischeid, Carson and Sophia Stranzl, and Karson Thomas. Best friend and chosen sister Dawn Hough.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023 from 9:00am until 10:30 am at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 11, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue Easton, PA 18045.
